2008-2009 Goals

• Increase interest and participation in the fourth annual South Florida Good to Great and Top 100 Minority Business Awards and second annual Business Innovation Institute.

• Expand communication tools to web and other virtual forums to better meet small business members’ time constraints.

• Adopt theme of “sell global, buy local” into activities of small business. 

• Collaborate with the Chamber’s ambassador program to create a small business track to help members navigate the Chamber.

• Develop and utilize criteria, in conjunction with the Chamber’s Black Business Initiatives, to celebrate and commemorate members’ successful business relationships, deals and news of members who do business with each other at Trustee luncheons and through all Chamber communication vehicles.
