2008-2009 Goals

• Work with Miami institutions to ensure mega sports events are incorporated in Miami branding campaign.

• Facilitate proposal process to Miami International Airport Master Concessionaires to create a Miami Sports concept store that includes major sporting events and teams.

• Increase awareness of opportunities for businesses to market themselves through sporting events at Chamber hosted seminars and events.

• Support existing teams, events and facilities through e-pass discount opportunities and other Chamber communications for corporate community involvement.

• Promote business-to-business opportunities available to Chamber members at sports venues.

• Keep baseball in South Florida.

• Produce the Chamber’s 16th annual Hall of Champions event in the fall of 2008.
