The Greater Miami Chamber of Commerce has been welcoming executive newcomers to the Greater Miami community through its Senior Executive Orientation (SEO) Program over 20 years.  The SEO program was designed to help recently relocated or newly promoted executives and spouses have a memorable as well as an informative transition into our community. Each year the class is limited to 35-40 executives and the SEO Planning Committee determines selection for the program.

The 2009 program begins on Friday, January 16, 2009. Throughout the seven sessions that are included in the four-month program, participants will hear from our community’s civic, governmental, sports and cultural leaders to gain insight into Greater Miami that would otherwise take years to discover. Participants will also visit various points of interest such as the Bankers Club of Miami, Biltmore Hotel, a cruise ship, and area restaurants, as well as foster new friendships and develop business relationships. Past participants will attest to the importance of the program in helping them to expedite acclimation to the Greater Miami area. Many of the friends and business acquaintances that they have today are participants that they first met during the SEO program. 

The cost for Chamber members is $1,500 per couple ($1,200 per individual) and $2,500 per couple ($1,800 per individual) for non-members. The program is only offered once a year.
