Florida Housing Coalition - A not for profit, statewide membership organization whose mission is to act as a catalyst to bring together housing advocates and resources so that all Floridians have a quality affordable home and suitable living environment.

Florida Housing Corporation - Florida Housing was created by the Florida Legislature over 20 years to help our fellow Floridians obtain safe, decent housing that might otherwise be unavailable to them.

South Florida Community Development Coalition - The Coalition is composed of nonprofit developers and their partners working to reverse the downward spiral of social and economic conditions in South Florida's lowest income neighborhoods.

Miami Dade County - Housing Central - Miami Dade County’s new web portal for ALL housing programs and services. Whether you are looking to buy a house, want to rent, or have special housing needs then this is the site for you!

Miami Home Programs  Provides a summary of housing related programs for home buyers in metropolitan Miami. A number of programs provide home buying assistance to individuals based on income.

• HOMEBUYERS - First Time Homebuyer Program makes purchasing a home more affordable for low-to-moderate income families and individuals by offering fixed, low-interest rate mortgage loans.  Homebuyers Program - Homebuyers can take advantage of our low-interest rate mortgages and financial assistance to help cover down payment and closing costs.
• RENTERS - Find an Affordable Apartment is a free, online affordable housing locator service that makes it easier to find affordable rental housing around the State. This locator is part of Florida Housing’s ongoing effort to respond to housing needs in general and specifically during natural disasters. Renters Program

HUD in Florida – Housing & Urban Development mission is to increase homeownership, support community development and increase access to affordable housing. HUD embraces high standards of ethics, management and accountability and forges new partnerships--particularly with faith-based, community organizations, and leverages other resources.

How to Buy a Home in the United States - The FannieMae Foundation has provided educational tools and training manuals for use by potential home buyers, current homeowners, and practitioners working in the affordable housing and community development field. This curriculum is featured in English and Spanish. How to Buy Your Own Home is another publication offered by the Foundation.

Neighborhood Lending Partners of South Florida. - Neighborhood Lending Partners, Inc. ("NLP") is a multi-bank lending consortium providing financing for developers of affordable housing and community revitalization.

Creation of Terwilliger Center for Workforce Housing

Those who serve their communities should be embraced by their communities, not shut out,” said J. Ronald Terwilliger, chairman and chief executive officer of Trammell Crow Residential at a press conference announcing his $5 million gift to ULI for the creation of the ULI Terwilliger Center for Workforce Housing. This commitment—the largest individual contribution ever made to the Institute—will be used to create a center based in Washington, D.C. that will work with ULI district councils, housing-related organizations, and various public- and private-sector representatives to create models of mixed-income workforce housing design, development, and financing. Initially, the center will focus on three markets—Atlanta, Southeast Florida, and Washington, D.C.—and the goal is to produce at least 3,500 units of new workforce housing in the three markets within five years.
