Miami SeaquariumMr. Andrew Hertz General Manager - Miami Seaquarium I personally have been involved with the Chamber for 11 years. It has been 11 wonderfully educational years. Through the chamber I have had opportunities to see, meet and experience the business community of south Florida in amazing ways and with the kind of access that would be difficult to come by on my own. With more than 250 employees, Miami Seaquarium, like all the businesses that make up this great chamber, helps drive the South Florida economy. It is "our" people and their passion for their work that makes Miami a special place to do business. We wish the Chamber a happy 100th birthday and look forward to continuing our enthusiastic support of this vibrant organization. 
Much like the Greater Miami Chamber of Commerce, Miami Seaquarium has a long and storied history. As you may know, since our opening in 1955, Miami Seaquarium has maintained a commitment to entertainment, education, wildlife conservation and community involvement. Miami Seaquarium and our parent company Wometco Enterprises have been a part of the Greater Miami Chamber of Commerce since 1950. Over the course of those years, we have participated in countless committees, hosted dozens of events on site and enjoyed the close working relationship with other community businesses in an atmosphere that only the Chamber could provide.

At the monthly Board of Governors and Trustees luncheon, I was selected in the business card drawing to join Burger King Corporation for their new product-tasting with their CEO. We are a Brand Promotion Agency, so I had a custom Bobble Head Lapel Pin made of "The Burger King" and wore it to the meeting. The head of Marketing placed an order with us for their National Convention and we have received re-orders already. GMCC ensures that their meetings create an atmosphere where even small businesses have the opportunity to meet even the largest of companies. We are Trustees because of that opportunity.
