The Domestic Business Development Group comprises the largest area of committees, task forces and industry councils of the chamber that address various business sectors and issues of regional concern.

From Creative Industries, to Education, to Healthcare & Bioscience, to Military Affairs Council, to New World Center (downtown issues), to Nonprofit Business, to Small Business, to Sports Council, to Technology, to Transportation & Infrastructure, the chamber uses its committee structure to work through issues, create projects or events, that heighten awareness or finds solutions.

It is by becoming involved in committees that members gain a deeper understanding of an issues or are able to add to the public dialogue of a particular topic and help GMCC formulate its programs that foster enhanced economic development for South Florida.
